On March 8, we take over Holiday Club for an afterski with conversations and live music. Meet skiers, artists, activists, and business leaders united for climate action and white winters!

Snowtopia will feature performances by artists Lisa Miskovsky and Magnus Carlson, as well as conversations with professional skiers from the World Cup, activists from Protect Our Winters and researchers from Stockholm Resilience Centre. The full program will be released soon – until then, save the date!

Lisa Miskovsky is one of Sweden’s most established artists and songwriters. She has sold 200,000 albums, won multiple awards, and collaborated with renowned musicians such as Max Martin and Joakim Berg. She is also a professional snowboarder. This spring, she is releasing her first album in Swedish!

André Myhrer
Olympic Champion in Slalom

André Myhrer was one of Sweden's top alpine skiers, especially renowned for his performances in slalom. He has won several World Cup races and earned a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang as well as a bronze medal in 2020 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. As an active skier, he has seen with own eyes how glaciers have melted and shrunk. Therefore, he wants to do what he can to accelerate a turnaround in climate change, so that future generations can also enjoy skiing.

Erik is a geographer and science journalist specializing in glaciology, climate dynamics, and earth systems. He is an experienced adventurer, skier, and climber, and has joined research expeditions in both Svalbard and Antarctica. He is also the co-founder of Protect Our Winters Sweden – a movement working toward long-term, structural solutions to protect our planet.

Toya has been one of the top athletes in extreme skiing, and this passion sparked her awareness of climate change. 2019, she founded Sweden’s largest climate research network Researcher's Desk. Today, she is Stockholm's only "roddarmadam" – rowing passengers across waterways while talking about the climate crisis.

Elite skier & POW ambassador

Björn is an elite skier, environmental scientist, and winter enthusiast. He works daily for Svenska Skidförbundet (The Swedish Ski Association), reducing emissions and finding ways to talk about climate issues in every possible situation. Björn is also ambassador for Protect Our Winters* and involved in several activist projects.

*POW is a movement of professional athletes, scientists, businesses, and nature enthusiasts who push climate issues higher on the agenda by debating and demonstrating, engaging with politicians, and shaping public opinion.
