Snowtopia's organizers from World Cup Åre, Stockholm Resilience Centre and LiveGreen welcome you to an afterski for climate action and white winters!

Erik Huss, glaciologist, will present what's going on with the climate and how it's affecting our winters. He will also share insights from a brand new glacier experiment and show how we can communicate the complexity of climate change in creative ways.

Artists and elite skiers will come together to discuss their shared passion for snowy winters and their growing concern about the climate crisis. Events like World Cups and music festivals offer powerful platforms with great potential to reach people's hearts, spark public debate, and challenge the status quo. But what else do we have in common, and how can we take action—both individually and professionally—to protect winter?

Our panel – featuring business leaders, elite skiers, and activists – will share best practices as well as the key challenges they face in their journey toward sustainability.

Four individuals—each from different backgrounds and with diverse perspectives—will discuss climate action, the status quo, and conflicting goals. They share a deep passion for snow, skiing, and alpine tourism while striving to address global warming and ecological crises.How do we keep the flame burning? How do we tackle the most complex systemic challenges? And can we find a way forward in a society increasingly shaped by polarization and individualism?
